PICK UP INSTRUCTIONS

The bidder is solely responsible for packing and loading the item. 

  • There will not be staff available to assist with loading items. 
  • There will not be any equipment provided or available for use by the winning bidder. (forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, etc.)

We have NO packing and shipping capabilities and do NOT accept prepaid labels or call tags.

The winning bidder will have 5 business days to finalize payment and to contact the seller. 

THE PICKUP WINDOW IS MONDAY – FRIDAY, 11AM TO 2PM.

Pick up appointments are mandatory.  Call to schedule an appointment, hours of availability by phone are Monday – Friday, 8am – 3pm, except all major holidays.  Please leave a message if your call is not answered.  Calls with no message are assumed spam and will not be returned.

If we are unable to communicate with you after the allotted 10 business days, you will forfeit the award and payment per the terms listed by Public Surplus.

PayMac handles all payments for Foothill De Anza Community College District. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction.

Buyers Premium: A 10% Buyer Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.

Bid Deposits: Foothill De Anza Community College District may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.
All surplus items are sold on "AS IS/WHERE IS" basis.
