[ View/Ask ]This 1989 Ford Fire Truck was utilized by the Southwest Ranches Volunteer Fire-Rescue Department for fire response and support operations. The unit is equipped with standard firefighting components, including emergency lighting, sirens, hose connections, and storage compartments for equipment and gear.
The vehicle currently has a dead battery and is anticipated to require a general tune-up and maintenance prior to any operational use.
The unit shows wear consistent with age and prior service, including but not limited to cosmetic imperfections, aging components, and potential mechanical needs typical of a vehicle of this vintage. Emergency equipment and systems should be inspected and serviced prior to redeployment.
This unit may be suitable for refurbishment, parts, training purposes, or repurposing.

Auction item inspections are available by appointment only. Shipping is not provided for any items. The Town of Southwest Ranches may require a bid deposit. All payments are handled by PayMac, Inc. Accepted payment methods are wire transfer or credit card-cash, checks, or money orders are not accepted. Payment for awarded items must be received within five (5) business days after notification. Sales tax may apply and will be calculated at the time of bidding. When applicable, sales tax must be included in the total payment. A 10.5% Buyers Premium will be added to the final price, with a $1 minimum per auction. This will be visible during bidding and added to the total. The buyer is responsible for item pick-up from the agency during normal business hours, within five (5) business days of award notification, unless otherwise arranged. Proof of payment and ID are required for pick-up. Pick-up is by appointment only through the Town's designee, and all items must be collected at once. The buyer is responsible for packing and loading. Town staff may assist but assumes no liability for damages during loading.
