WINNING BIDDERS
Pick-ups MUST be scheduled during hours of operation.
Non-operational vehicles must be towed. No maintenance will be allowed on District property other than installing a new battery.

Must have proper equipment to remove vehicles as quickly as possible. If the equipment is insufficient, you will be turned away and rescheduled for another time.
Vehicles will be titled ONLY to the WINNING BIDDER or BIDDER'S BUSINESS - NO EXCEPTIONS.
If someone other than the bidder is picking up a vehicle or piece of equipment, please email a letter of authorization to m.wear@ghid.gov. The letter must include the third party's name, auction number, and title information. For title information: include YOUR name or company name (as it will appear on the title) complete address, and phone number. We WILL NOT put the title in another person's name - no exceptions. Please include a copy of YOUR (winning bidder) driver's license. We WILL NOT release anything until we receive this information.

Please do not email an authorization until you contact the office staff. Also, please confirm that we've received the email.
All District markings and license plates will be removed from vehicles before release to the winning bidder. Radios and any other special equipment previously added may be removed from the vehicle before transfer.
The buyer is responsible for filing all title transfers and registration documents with their local vehicle registration authority. The District is not responsible for changing the title information once the title is turned over to the bidder.
Payment and pick-up of vehicle/equipment must be completed within five (5) business days of the auction's close. Please let us know if you are paying with a wire transfer because this may take several days to clear.
Your bid is a decision to buy this item. Customers will not be allowed to view an item and then decide whether they will buy the vehicle. Ample time is provided to view items before the auction ends. Management reserves the right to block/ban customers who abandon property or refuse to pay for an item, or for any other reason in the best interests of the District.

Viewing of Auction items by appointment only.

PayMac handles all payments for Granger-Hunter Improvement District. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 9 business days of close of auction.

Buyers Premium: A 10% Buyer Premium shall be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment, unless otherwise stated. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.

Bid Deposits: Granger-Hunter Improvement District may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.

Pick-up hours are Monday - Thursday, 8 am 6 pm, excluding holidays. Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of item.

Items must be picked up at the Granger-Hunter Improvement District office during regular business hours as listed on our website. Granger-Hunter Improvement District will not ship any item(s).
