This is a lot of 4 (four) 26” Mountain bikes.
Item #1 in this lot is a Cannondale Trail police edition, Medium frame. Comes equipped with RHYNO LITE wheels, Cat Eye bicycle computer, Shimano SLX shifters and brake perch/levers, Avid brake calipers, sport bottle holder, rear rack and Fatty forks. May need tubes, tires appear to be in fair condition but are currently flat from sitting in storage
Item #2 in this lot is a Fuji America Code 1, 19” framed police edition mountain bike equipped with SASUNTOUR XCT adjustable, dampened forks, Shimano shifters, TekPro Novela disc brakes, sport bottle holder and rear rack. Tires appear to be in good shape, may need tube replacement as they are flat from sitting in storage.
Item #3 in this lot is a Cannondale, unknown model, mountain bike. Come equipped with Ritchey handlebars, Shimano Deore shifters, rear rack, sport bottle holder, Shimano Deore hubs and Headshok P-Bone, fluid dampened, front forks system. The rear rim in not strait, possibly bent. Tires appear worn, unknown on tube condition as tires are flat from sitting in storage.
Item #4 in this lot is a Specialized Hardrock Sport edition equipped with RST fluid dampened, adjustable forks. Tekpro standard style brakes with Shimano integrated brake and shifter combo. Right shifter is missing the cover. Tires in fair condition but flat and may need tubes as unit bas been sitting in storage.
Remember - this bid is the same as a contract.
Please bid only on an item that you are serious about buying. If you do win the bid you are legally bound by contract to purchase the item.
You are expected to remove your own items.
All items are sold "as-is", "where-is" with no warranty or guarantees.
INSPECTION
The responsibility to verify the condition of the property rests with the bidder.
Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to bidding, and to place bids based solely on their personal inspection.
All questions must be asked through the website no answers to questions will be given over the phone.
Inspection of Auction items by appointment only.
City of Modesto may require a bid deposit.
PayMac handles all payments for City of Modesto.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
City of Modesto will charge applicable sales tax [8.875%]. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 9.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
Pick-up hours by appointment only.
The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
