That part of the Northeast quarter (NE1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW1/4) of Section 36, Township 109, North, Range 18 West, described as follows:
Beginning at a monument placed at the Southeast corner of Block Two (2) in Skyberg, according to the recorded plat thereof; running thence West 80 feet; thence South 185 feet, thence East 155 feet, more or less to the Western boundary of the right of way of the Chicago Great Western Railway Company, now the western boundary of trunk Highway No. 56, thence northerly along the westerly boundary of said right of way to the place of beginning; except the south 60 feet thereof.

At the time of this auction's closing, each bidder will be presumed to have inspected the site and to have read and to be thoroughly familiar with any and all plans and documents attached to this auction listing.
Costs Subject to Bid Up - The following fees will be visible during the bidding process and added automatically to the total bid price:

- Deed Tax of 0.33% of the Final Bid, Certified Assessments and Buyer Premium

Payment must be made by Cash, Cashier's/Certified/Personal Check or Money Order made payable to Goodhue County Finance & Taxpayer Services.
When the auction closes, the seller will send the winning bidder an email to begin processing the transaction. Your prompt response is appreciated to complete the transaction in a timely manner to avoid having your bid considered null and void.
Failure to make payment within ten (10) business days may result in the item going to the next highest bidder. We reserve the right to block/ban bidders who refuse to pay for land purchased.
Goodhue County does not warrant the condition of title or provide a survey of the property. Transfer of property title shall be in the form of a State Deed, as prescribed by law, to the highest bidder.
Conflict of Interest:
Goodhue County officials/employees are prohibited from using privileged government data obtained through their position to further their own private interests.
Minnesota Statute 282.016 prohibits the direct or indirect purchase of tax forfeited land by individuals employed with the office of the County Auditor, County Treasurer, County Attorney, Court Administrator of the District Court, County Assessor or a commissioner for tax-forfeited lands.
Any person or entity, or entity controlled by such person, is a prohibited purchaser or bidder, if said person or entity is delinquent on real or personal property taxes in Goodhue County per Minnesota Statue 282.016.
Goodhue County is not responsible for any omissions or errors in the description of items being offered for sale. Under no circumstances will a refund/adjustment be made due to the property failing to meet buyer's expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bidder shall indemnify and hold Goodhue County harmless from and against any claims, damages, losses and expenses, demand or cause of action arising/alleged to have arisen out of the sale or failure to sell any property including claims of personal or bodily injury, death, or contract damages.
Goodhue County reserves the right to accept or reject any/all auction's bids or any part of an auction's bid.
