PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS OF AUCTION CLOSE.
REMOVAL REQUIRED WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS OF PAYMENT POSTED. IF REMOVAL DOES NOT OCCUR DURING THIS TIME, THE PAYMENT SHALL BE RETURNED TO THE WINNING BIDDER AND THE DISTRICT WILL PROCEED TO THE NEXT SUCCESSFUL BIDDER.
WE DO NOT HAVE A LOADING DOCK OR FORKLIFT. THE WINNING BIDDER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION WITH LIFT GATE AND IS REQUIRED TO LIFT AND LOAD THE ITEM ONTO THEIR OWN VEHICLE WITHOUT ANY ASSISTANCE. WE CANNOT ASSIST WITH LOADING ITEM(S) ONTO YOUR VEHICLE. THE BIDDER SHALL ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PICK-UP OF SAID ITEM.
IN ORDER TO LIMIT INTERFACE WITH THE GENERAL PUBLIC DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, IT IS REQUIRED THAT YOU USE A MASK/ FACE COVERING AT THE TIME OF REMOVAL OF THE ITEMS.
The following insurance requirements must be provided upon completion of the winning bid and PRIOR to arranging for the pickup of this item. No persons will be allowed on to the property without meeting the insurance requirements below.
MINIMUM SCOPE AND LIMIT OF INSURANCE
Coverage shall be at least as broad as:
1. Commercial General Liability (CGL): Insurance Services Office Form CG 00 01 cover CGL on an “occurrence” basis, including products and completed operations, property damage, bodily injury and personal & advertising injury with limits no less than $2,000,000 per occurrence. If a general aggregate limit applies, either the general aggregate limit shall apply separately to this project//location (ISO CD 25 03 or 25 04) or the general aggregate limit shall be twice the required occurrence limit.
2. Automobile Liability: ISO Form Number CA 00 01 covering any auto (Code 1), or if the Contractor has no owned autos, hired, (Code 8) and non-owned autos (Code 9), with limit no less than $1,000,000 per accident for bodily injury and property damage.
3. Worker’s Compensation: as required by the State of California, with Statutory Limits, and Employer’s Liability Insurance with limit of no less than $1,000,000 per accident for bodily injury or disease.

PayMac, handles all payments for Los Angeles Community College District. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction.
Current Los Angeles County sales tax rate shall be added to all purchases made. The buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
Buyers Premium: A 9% Buyer Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment and as scheduled by the listed Auction Contact. Pick up hours are by appointment only. Successful bidder will be responsible to remove the item at the scheduled pick up time. If item is not removed at the scheduled pick-up time, Los Angeles Community College District has the right to move to the next bidder without offering a refund. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.
Bid Deposits: Los Angeles Community College District may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.
