PICK-UP: Monday through Friday ONLY must vacate the property by 2:00 p.m., excluding state holidays.

NO short notice requests for pick up appointments

Showing up late: Failure to show up within 30 minutes of the agreed-upon time will result in cancellation and the winning bidder must set a new appointment.

WE DO NOT PACK, SHIP, LOAD, or PALLETIZE

Appointments are required for inspections and pick up no exceptions.

PICK-UP within 10 CALENDAR working days of auction award,
excluding Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.

Removal:
 Buyer must remove auction item(s) from the Mount Vernon school district premises within 10 Working days after the time and date of issuance of the Notice of Award. If the Buyer, after making payment for an item, fails to remove the item within the specified time, the Mount Vernon School District reserves the right (1) to retain all payments; and (2) to dispose of the item through another auction or otherwise. (3) Buyer will be blocked from bidding on any and all Mount Vernon School District auctions posted on the Government Public Surplus Auction website. 

All items are "as-is, where-is" and we are not experts on the items listed: all conditions are best approximations. We are not responsible for any errors or omissions on our part.  All sales are final. There are NO REFUNDS or ADJUSTMENTS. The successful bidder will be responsible for the removal of the item and should know that we do not have loading docks nor are we allowed to assist in any way for liability reasons.  

We do not package or prepare items to ship, shipping and shipping arrangements are the buyer's responsibility.  

We are not allowed to assist with loading and do not provide or assist with equipment to load.  Make arrangements to bring help with you if it is something you may need assistance with.

Winning Bidder must make an appointment to pick up winning Item no exceptions.

Mount Vernon School District #320 may require a bid deposit.

PayMac handles all payments for Mount Vernon School District #320.

Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.


Mount Vernon School District #320will charge a sales tax of 8.80%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
