Please note: Bidders are solely responsible for the safe removal of items from City property. City staff will not be available to assist with loading or transportation.

 PAYMENTS

Payments are conducted through Public Surplus. The City of Scottsdale cannot receive payments for auction items locally. Please pay for your auction before traveling to the City’s warehouse.

Payment and pick up must occur within seven (7) calendar days after notification of award. Failure to comply may result in being blocked from all future auctions.

PICKUP

Items must be picked up locally by the auction winner or an authorized third party. Person picking up must be 18 years or older.

Refer to the terms & conditions in the auction heading for details on auction pickup.

Current pick-up hours are Monday - Friday, 7am – 1:30pm

SHIPPING

The City of Scottsdale cannot ship items. Please do not send a prepaid shipping label. Auction winners are responsible for pickup and any shipping arrangements.

Public Surplus buyer's premium of 10% will be added to the winning bid ($1 minimum).
Eligible Participation
Only Public Surplus users with accounts at least 30 days old can participate in the City of Scottsdale's auctions.
Pickup
Auction winner is responsible for bringing appropriate manpower, load securing equipment, and appropriate transport vehicle. The City of Scottsdale will cease an item pickup if it is deemed unsafe.
Third-Party Pickup
The following requirements are needed for a third-party pickup:
1) Email from the auction winner's Public Surplus account authorizing release of items to the third party.
2) Copy of the paid receipt
3) Personal Identification of third party at time of pickup.
