Municipally maintained 6-wheel catch basin cleaner / clamshell dump truck used for routine stormwater system maintenance, including cleaning and debris removal from catch basins, manholes, and drainage structures. This unit is equipped with a Stetco 950 crane and clamshell bucket system, designed to efficiently remove sediment, leaves, and debris and transfer material directly into the dump body for transport and disposal.

The truck features a conventional dump body for hauling collected material and is well-suited for public works operations, contractors, and utility crews performing drainage and roadway maintenance. Regularly used in a municipal fleet and maintained in accordance with standard public works practices.  There are some apparent defects in the frame as seen in the attached photos.  Vehicle passed state inspection in April 2026.  The vehicle has 61,783 miles.

Condition is consistent with age and prior municipal use. Interested bidders are encouraged to inspect the vehicle in person prior to bidding.  Please contact the Highway Division to set up a time to view the vehicle at 978-692-5520.  Inspections may be scheduled M - F, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
